February 14, 2006A very happy Valentine's day to everyone!!!
This is my first really good Valentine's Day as this time I spend it with the right one. OK, OK, I had my pre-Valentine on Sunday with the most delicious wonderful home-made candellight dinner ever. I think it's those little things he makes that make me realize how much he loves me.
Love is a strange thing. People often don't even realize how much love there is in their lives or they just take the love of the other one for granted. This is the biggest mistake ever and I learn that every single day. You always have to work on your relationship, always make something new, some surprise, something unexpected and you'll see it will be rewarded. It's amazing how those little things can make one happy, like his expression when saying "Oh my God, Le Notre chocolate!"; or the way he looks at me when driving the car, caressing my face for a second. Mmmm, yes, I am very happy now...
But there is another strange thing at our relationship: he is the perfect cook, really perfect, everything he cooks has a 5 stars restaurant quality. How does he make it? What's the secret? Where did he learn it and when? Come on my dear friends, help me, teach me cooking like that! But hey, I know something he doesn't know: baking! So all I need is a good mixer and some ingredients and off I go, vroooooooom cookies and cakes!!!
Oh, and I finally found a stable here, the Equestrian Club. They obviously have also European breed horses, some German ones so if that is true woohoo!!! We have an appointment!!! Just that my work hours and his work hours and their opening hours are absolutely not compatible.. but we will manage that somehow, I mean what are taxies for? Well, just that all my riding equipment is at home in Europe though I was told I can ride in jeans and sneakers too (mmm, interesting, in our home stable you cannot for some very well founded safety reasons...). OK, first let's enjoy Valentine's Day and the rest we shall see later...
